A huge thank you to Ross and Michelle at Surfcoast Floats, like so many people, I spent a great deal of time researching the huge range of floats on the market. I had a number of specific ideas and requests in relation to the float and a multitude of optional extras. In the end, it was important for me to find a company that could custom make my float, so I could have everything exactly how I wanted. Ross and Michelle were amazing! The communication, time frame, attention to detail and the price were unbelievable. They offered a truly personalised service, consulting with me at every step of the way about the large and the finer details. They responded to my regular emails and phone calls straight away and contacted me for confirmation on all the finer details. Nothing was too hard and they went out of their way to make sure everything could be accommodated. The end result was a great looking, extremely safe float with every extra option under the sun at a very affordable price. Harry (BV Red Devil) and I don't know ourselves with so much space, storage and comfort both on the road and at events. Thanks again to Surfcoast Floats!"

Hi Michelle and Ross,
I LOVE the float, it tows so well, and I picked up a horse on the way home and didn't even notice he was there! I just wanted to say thanks so much, it is everything I could wish for, and SOOO beautiful.
Thank you both again for all your help.
It was an absolute pleasure doing business with both Ross and Michelle and buying a custom Surfcoast Float. I had looked at just about every float around and nothing really worked for my needs. I have a 17.2 Irish Sport Horse plus a large eventer and a pony. Surfcoast were very flexible and managed to incorporate everything I needed into a very attractive package. Nothing was too much trouble and the building of the float seemed to be very fast and efficient. The quality of materials and the presentation has brought comments from many. Surfcoast, Ross and Michelle are fabulous at what they do and how they treat their customers!
Having a float built can be a big financial commitment into the unknown, especially when you start to add some ‘optional extras’.
Surfcoast Floats could not have been more helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Not only did I end up with my dream float, but at a very reasonable price. The quality of the end product is excellent, as was the service and advice before, during and after construction.
For quality, service, safety and affordability you can not go past Surfcoast Floats.

Just emailing to thankyou for all your help, your continued patience with all of my questions and generally how easy it was to deal with you both.
FLoat is travelling well, no rattles or shakes. It is very smooth and the horses travell really well in it.
My 17h TB has heaps of room. Hav had lots of positive comments on it and many people are impressed with how well it is made.
They especially like the latches on the breeching and rear doors - nothing to catch horses on.
Thanks once again, I'll definitely be purchasing my next float from you.

“As breeders of Welsh Mountain Ponies we needed a float that suits smaller ponies, we informed Surfcoast Floats of our requirements and they designed a Three Angle float that would suit our ponies. Our float is wonderful. No more concerns about ponies being thrown about, or slipping under the dividers as the bays in the float have been specially designed to contain them safely. We highly recommend Surfcoast Floats for their craftsmanship and their dedication to each of their clients.”

“Wow! Top service and a fantastic price! I did a lot of research before choosing who to get to build my new float and Surfcoast came out #1. The design in terms of safety issues was a big concern for me - particularly the flooring - and there was little criticism from anyone about Surfcoast Floats. The service was next to none, no problem was too big or small and they even went out of their way to get me the colours that I wanted!! I would highly recommend Surfcoast Floats to anyone wanting a new float built to high standards.”

In early 2006 The Equestrian Federation of Pakistan (EFP) and Pakistan Eventing (PE) prepared a feasibility study which was to invite Australian float manufacturers to submit a tender to build a custom made 3 angle horse float with sleeping quarters. Since it was Pakistan's first horse float being build overseas for our Roadmap to the Olympics, the blueprints with floor plans of the float were directly sent to Pakistan Sports Trust (PST) and the President's Office.
Surfcoast Floats quickly came to our attention because of the quality of their products, customer service and great price. Our biggest priority was comfort and safety of the horses. We also wanted the float light in weight and durable.
Surfcoast Floats’ knowledge on our equestrian requirements was very beneficial which helped us understand the Australian road network and lead to a great road design for horses, rider and grooms. During competition or while on the road several people have approached us to see the float, so the quality speaks for itself. We say it with experience as we have traveled more than 11,000 k's for competitions, seminars and trainings in the east coast.
It gives us great pleasure to know that Surfcoast Floats have engineered Pakistan's first 3 Angle Horse Float. Since then the float has made several headlines and has been a symbol for Pakistan Equestrian in several magazines and posters around the world.
Well done Surfcoast Floats!

Just writing a big thank you to yourself and Ross, for all the work you both have done. Love the float, its quiet and easy to tow. Being at a horse agistment of 50-60 horses, I've had nothing but people continually looking through it, and commenting on how well it is built, specially underneath.
Funny what a little room does to help float loading, the horse in question didnt even hestitate, just walked on, and fits beautifully, and the float barely moves when 600kg of horse is walking on, which is great. I thought she would have at least used the smell of a new float as an excuse, but I got nothing. (which is great)
If I ever upgrade, I will be back to see you guys again :)
